Working with such a vast range of industry sectors often takes Ubiqus to multiple locations as across the globe, and leads us to executing jobs with varying levels of intricacy.

For example, in April we assisted a not-for-profit organisation who had interests in finance and financial regulation. They required a complicated multi-level delivery of round table discussions and speeches delivered by key industry figures from all over Europe. The three-day conference took place in Malta covered topics such as:

  • Growth and stability challenges of the EU and Eurozone
  • Technology and climate-related new trends
  • CMU implementation
  • Banking and insurance regulation


Our role was to ensure that we captured and transcribed the discussions at these roundtables, as the content was deemed extremely valuable and insightful.  Initially our account manager met with the client, head writer and project planner to develop a strategy for execution which included a detailed, yet evolving style guide over the course of the event.

We assigned a team of 6 writers and 3 editors whom had intimate knowledge of the topics based on their own experience within the finance & financial regulatory industry.  In addition, the onsite team were flexible enough to receive frequent feedback from the client in review of the ongoing deliverables ensuring that they received only the best service.

Ultimately, we covered 34 sessions resulting in collection of full transcripts for each session, creation of summaries associated with individual speakers, creation of summaries based on theme, and executive summaries.

Overall, it was a challenge to deliver consistently and accurately, but our experience, regardless of the location or situation enabled us to satisfy our client.
